Notes:

A waiver of tuition for Ohio State students that participate on university-approved third party provider or direct enroll programming is in effect until June 30, 2019.

Room price listed is for students staying in homestays.  This number includes meals provided by homestay family.  If student's choose to live in an apartment, they should expect to pay a lower room cost but budget $2000-$4000 for meals.  Students that live in apartments must also pay a $300 housing deposit (fully refundable).

Misc./Education Abroad Personal Expenses includes local transportation and AMIDEAST's estimated personal expenses for the academic year.

The Amideast program fee includes pre-departure preparation, courses up to 17 credit hours, all-inclusive one-week orientation, housing (either with a host family or shared apartment), most meals (if with a host family), three program-organized excursions, supplementary lectures and events, medical insurance, pre and post program oral proficiency interview and program-supplied mobile phone for use in Jordan.  

International insurance is required for all students traveling on a study abroad program. 

A visa is required for students who are US citizens to participate on this program. 

The Centers for Disease Control can be consulted for recommended vaccines for travel to Jordan.
