Transformational Overseas Experience

In my junior year of my undergraduate degree I enrolled in a three week cross-cultural program to Costa Rica and Belize as a substitute for my final course of the language requirement. The experience led me to enroll in additional Spanish language courses, and spending my entire final semester in Costa Rica and a year-long internship in Costa Rica following graduation. Upon returning to the United States, I shifted my area of academic focus and enrolled in a MA program to further my studies.
